Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (technological, economic, social, environmental) to identify opportunities and threats for 2026+ strategic planning
- Develop scenario-based forecasts and strategic roadmaps for product development, market entry, and organizational transformation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future vision and strategic priorities
- Conduct primary research through expert interviews, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Translate foresight into actionable recommendations for R&D, investment, and operational pivots
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visual storytelling
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategy consulting, futurism, or innovation leadership with proven 5+ year horizon planning experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Economics, or related quantitative field
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology, AR/VR) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling skills with proficiency in analytical tools (Python, Tableau)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks implemented in enterprise environments
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term transformational strategies
