Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic vision roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops to quantify opportunities/threats in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future market demands
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs to track progress toward 2026 milestones and adjust frameworks quarterly
- Build an external advisory network of industry futurists and academic thought leaders
- Produce quarterly 'Future State' reports for investor and internal communications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or future planning roles
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic vision frameworks
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, Web3, biotech, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transitions
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., CFM) preferred
