Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology, societal, and market shifts
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and future-state scenarios for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation roadmaps with emerging opportunities
- Present compelling future outlooks to stakeholders through data-driven visualizations and narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer foresight methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at industry conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech trends
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to simplify complex futures concepts
- Experience with scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future forecasts or strategic frameworks
