Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology foresight strategy through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops for emerging tech disruptions (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Produce actionable strategic reports for executive board and investor committees
- Build and maintain expert networks across academia, government, and private sectors
- Drive innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging tech ecosystems (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/SF) strongly preferred
