Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify strategic opportunities and risks
- Develop and maintain Horizon's 2026+ innovation framework with quarterly foresight updates
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future scenarios
- Produce actionable trend reports and scenario-planning models for executive leadership
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for emerging market needs
- Represent Horizon at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor innovation teams in adaptive strategy methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impact
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
