Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify and validate emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026-2030
- Develop and publish annual Future State reports with data-driven strategic recommendations
- Architect innovation frameworks and lead incubation initiatives for next-gen products/services
- Partner with R&D to integrate exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, bio-tech) into business strategy
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops with executive teams to align on future-ready priorities
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 2026 transformation goals
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry thought leadership events
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futures research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level storytelling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (whitepapers/articles)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Certification in Futures Research or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTR, CIPM)
