Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and global megatrends to forecast industry disruptions by 2026
- Develop and implement strategic innovation frameworks for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional teams in rapid prototyping and validation of future-facing solutions
- Present compelling scenarios and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and industry disruptors
- Design and execute horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough opportunities
- Mentor innovation teams in futures-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in futures research methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-suite audiences
- Experience with innovation frameworks (Design Thinking, Lean Startup, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable impact
