Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps and translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed foresight into product development and corporate planning
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs and mentor teams in emerging methodologies (e.g., speculative design, scenario planning)
- Present compelling future narratives to stakeholders through executive briefings and thought leadership publications
- Oversee portfolio of moonshot projects with $5M+ annual budgets and track innovation ROI metrics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with demonstrable impact on Fortune 500 roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method) and scenario planning methodologies
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or business models from concept to market
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with 50+ executive presentations delivered globally
- Certified in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or other recognized institutions)
