Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2026+
- Architect and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market disruption
- Partner with executive leadership to translate foresight into actionable strategies for product development and market entry
- Champion a future-ready culture through workshops, thought leadership, and organizational design interventions
- Quantify future scenarios through market modeling, competitive analysis, and risk assessment frameworks
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between R&D, product, and commercial teams to accelerate innovation cycles
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or trend analysis with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercially successful products or ventures
- Expertise in scenario planning, market modeling, and disruptive technology assessment (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to influence C-suite stakeholders
- Advanced degree in strategic foresight, economics, innovation management, or related field
- Published thought leadership on future trends or innovation methodologies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Futures School, WFS) preferred
