Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) and translate insights into actionable strategic initiatives
- Develop and maintain a 2026+ horizon scanning framework to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios and innovation priorities
- Design and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging markets and technologies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and board members with compelling narratives
- Build and manage a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating foresight into tangible business outcomes
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Business, Technology, or related field
- Certification in futures studies or strategic planning preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or published thought leadership
