Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to forecast 2026+ industry disruptions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof solutions
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Author annual 'Future State' reports and horizon-scanning briefings
- Mentor junior strategists in trend analysis and scenario modeling methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and technology roadmapping
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech or future trends
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or foresight academy)
- Portfolio demonstrating trend-impact analysis for 2026+ horizons
