Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends and market shifts to forecast 2026+ industry disruptions
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development
- Build executive presentations on emerging opportunities and risk mitigation
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify next-generation investment targets
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial strategies
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence trends
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFS from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for executive and stakeholder audiences
- Experience with horizon scanning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenario work
