Responsibilities
- Analyze global technological, social, and economic trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging tech adoption (quantum, biotech, neuro interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-state vision and innovation priorities
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and trend briefs for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate future insights into 3-5 year roadmaps
- Monitor horizon scanning methodologies and foresight tools for continuous improvement
- Represent company at global innovation forums and trend symposiums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable insights
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures publications
- Experience leading cross-geography strategy initiatives in tech-forward industries
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFPC from APF) strongly preferred
