Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead strategic workshops with executive teams to translate future insights into actionable business initiatives
- Identify emerging technologies and market shifts with potential to disrupt our industry
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Quantify future opportunities through data modeling and market simulation
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors with compelling visual narratives
- Mentor junior innovation specialists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight or futures methodologies preferred
