Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze disruptive technologies, market trends, and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop and implement strategic innovation frameworks that align with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and leadership teams to co-create future scenarios
- Produce executive-ready foresight reports with actionable recommendations for product development and market positioning
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to capture emerging insights
- Champion a culture of experimentation by designing and prototyping future-facing concepts
- Present strategic vision to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data-driven storytelling
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into successful product launches or business transformations
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data from diverse sources
- Strong facilitation skills with experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguity
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, books, or keynotes)
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field required; PhD preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives with measurable impact
