You'll collaborate with C-suite executives to navigate emerging trends and translate futuristic concepts into actionable business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, quantum computing, neural interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Partner with R&D to integrate speculative technologies into commercial pipelines
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive market shifts through 2030
- Present strategic futures briefings to investors and board members
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services with exponential impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, synthetic biology, climate tech, or quantum computing
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFIP, Foresight Practitioner)
- Experience with venture capital/VC funding cycles and startup ecosystems
- Portfolio demonstrating transformational projects launched in the past 5 years
- PhD or equivalent in strategic foresight, technology management, or relevant field
- Fluency in futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi, cross-impact matrices)
