- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to anticipate disruptive innovations
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Manage innovation budgets and resource allocation for future-tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences
- Track record of launching innovative products/services
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
