Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor weekend staff to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols
- Oversee daily operations including inventory management, quality control, and workflow optimization
- Coordinate with other departments to maintain smooth weekend transitions and operational continuity
- Resolve operational challenges and implement process improvements as needed
- Conduct shift briefings and ensure clear communication of daily goals and expectations
- Monitor equipment functionality and escalate maintenance issues promptly
- Generate shift reports and document key performance indicators
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing
- Proven track record of leading teams in fast-paced operational environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick, data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training preferred
- Ability to work weekends and occasional holidays as required
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
