Responsibilities
- Oversee daily weekend warehouse operations including inventory management and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 staff members, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Coordinate with weekday supervisors to maintain operational continuity and efficiency
- Resolve operational challenges and implement process improvements
- Conduct regular team briefings and performance evaluations
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and resource allocation
- Generate and analyze weekend performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in logistics or warehouse environments
- Proven ability to manage teams during weekend shifts and peak periods
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to operational detail
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work independently and make decisive judgments
