Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) with rotating holidays
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans accurately in electronic health records
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations following established protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Participate in weekend staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Ohio RN or LPN license (required)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care setting
- BLS/CPR certification (must be maintained)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
