Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, scheduling, and discharge processes across weekend shifts
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care pathways
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Oversee weekend staffing assignments and resource allocation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and weekend safety protocols
- Train and mentor new staff on weekend-specific procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of healthcare coordination or patient services experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR certification a plus)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced weekend environments with minimal supervision
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and protocols
