Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend warehouse operations including inventory management, order processing, and quality control
- Lead a team of 5-6 weekend associates through daily briefings and performance coaching
- Optimize logistics workflows to achieve 99.5% on-time delivery metrics
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance across all weekend activities
- Resolve operational escalations and troubleshoot logistics challenges in real-time
- Generate end-of-shift reports and prepare Monday transition documentation
- Collaborate with weekday supervisors to ensure seamless operational continuity
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience
- Proven leadership skills with weekend shift scheduling experience
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving abilities with data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional team coordination
- Ability to work independently with minimal weekday supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to changing operational priorities
