Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control
- Lead a team of 8-12 weekend staff through daily briefings and performance coaching
- Coordinate with weekday operations team for seamless handoffs and process alignment
- Implement and optimize logistics workflows using TMS software and IoT tracking systems
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company SLAs
- Analyze weekend performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage vendor relationships for weekend courier services and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of operations management experience in logistics or retail
- Proven leadership managing teams of 10+ employees in shift-based environments
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making experience
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management training
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
