Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control
- Lead and mentor a team of 8-12 weekend staff members, ensuring performance excellence
- Coordinate with weekday managers to ensure seamless operational continuity
- Implement and optimize safety protocols and efficiency standards
- Manage weekend logistics including vendor communications and delivery scheduling
- Generate performance reports and provide actionable insights for process improvements
- Resolve operational challenges with innovative solutions
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/warehouse management with weekend shift experience
- Proven leadership skills managing teams of 10+ employees
- Strong problem-solving abilities under time-sensitive conditions
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment safely
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Portland-based candidates preferred for on-site weekend availability
