Responsibilities
- Coordinate all weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and outbound shipments
- Supervise 15+ weekend staff, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and performance standards
- Optimize weekend delivery routes using our proprietary logistics software
- Collaborate with weekday managers to ensure operational continuity and process improvements
- Implement weekend-specific contingency plans for supply chain disruptions
- Conduct weekly performance reviews and mentor weekend team members
- Generate weekend operational reports for executive leadership review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management
- Proven track record of leading weekend shift operations
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse management systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Proficiency in logistics software (WMS/TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Michigan driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekday coverage
