Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 weekend staff members through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement process improvements to optimize weekend productivity and reduce operational costs
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards during weekend shifts
- Coordinate with weekday management teams for seamless operational handovers
- Generate weekend performance reports and implement corrective actions
- Manage weekend vendor relationships and logistics coordination
Qualifications
- 3+ years of operations management experience in logistics or warehouse environments
- Proven leadership experience managing weekend or shift-based teams
- Strong proficiency in WMS systems and logistics software
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with data-driven decision-making skills
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions during off-peak hours
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
