Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end venue operations across 3 host cities including security, transportation, and volunteer management
- Coordinate with FIFA, local governments, and commercial partners to ensure regulatory compliance and budget adherence
- Develop contingency protocols for weather emergencies, crowd control, and technological disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams of 200+ staff across departments including hospitality, marketing, and broadcast
- Implement sustainability initiatives targeting 50% waste reduction and 100% renewable energy usage
- Manage vendor relationships for $50M+ operational budget including catering, security, and technology providers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in large-scale event management with 3+ years in FIFA/IOC/Olympics-level operations
- Proven expertise in multi-city logistics across North America with fluency in English/Spanish
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential required
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $30M and teams of 150+ personnel
- Deep understanding of FIFA regulations, venue security protocols, and crisis management frameworks
- Track record of delivering sustainable event operations with measurable ESG outcomes
- Advanced proficiency in SAP Event Management and venue management software
