Job Description
Lead the monumental 2026 Winter Olympics logistics operation as our Director of Olympic Logistics. This pivotal role demands strategic vision and operational excellence to orchestrate complex supply chains, venue coordination, and infrastructure development across Colorado's mountain venues. You'll spearhead cross-functional initiatives ensuring seamless athlete experiences, sustainable resource allocation, and legacy-building infrastructure that positions Colorado as a premier global sports destination for decades to come.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics master plans for 15+ competition venues and athlete villages
- Coordinate with 30+ international federations and local government agencies for regulatory compliance
- Manage $500M+ budget for transportation, equipment, and infrastructure deployment
- Implement zero-waste protocols and carbon-neutral operations aligned with Olympic Agenda 2026
- Lead crisis response protocols for weather disruptions and supply chain contingencies
- Oversee vendor partnerships for sustainable materials and last-mile delivery systems
- Coordinate legacy infrastructure projects post-Games for long-term community benefit
Qualifications
- 15+ years in large-scale logistics management with 5+ in Olympic/World Cup events
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Sports Administration
- Proven P&L responsibility for budgets exceeding $300M
- Certified in ISO 28000 and CSCP supply chain protocols
- Experience with mountainous terrain logistics and extreme weather operations
- Fluency in English with working knowledge of French/Spanish
- Expertise in sustainable logistics frameworks and circular economy models
- Strong stakeholder management across public-private partnerships
