Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot patrols of assigned commercial/residential properties
- Monitor surveillance systems and document all suspicious activities
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations
- Write detailed incident reports using digital reporting systems
- Verify visitor credentials and maintain access logs
- Perform property security checks (doors, windows, lighting)
- Coordinate with law enforcement during critical incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Valid North Carolina Security Guard License (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation to worksites across Raleigh
- Ability to stand/walk for 8-hour shifts
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Basic computer literacy for report writing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Clear criminal background check (provided by employer)
