Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end infrastructure planning for 2026 World Cup venues and supporting facilities
- Coordinate with FIFA compliance officers to ensure all designs meet international standards
- Manage $500M+ construction budgets across 12 host cities
- Oversee sustainable engineering initiatives targeting carbon-neutral venues
- Develop innovative crowd management systems for 3M+ anticipated attendees
- Integrate smart city technologies into transportation networks
- Lead cross-functional teams of 200+ engineers and contractors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in mega-event infrastructure (Olympics/World Cup preferred)
- Expertise in FIFA stadium technical standards and safety protocols
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Advanced proficiency in BIM/CAD and project management software
- Certification in sustainable engineering (LEED AP or equivalent)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar budgets and complex stakeholder negotiations
