Responsibilities
- Design and deploy integrated solar/wind microgrid systems with AI predictive maintenance
- Develop energy storage solutions using next-gen battery and hydrogen technologies
- Optimize grid efficiency through machine learning algorithms and IoT sensor networks
- Lead lifecycle analysis for carbon-neutral infrastructure projects
- Partner with policy teams to shape 2026+ renewable energy standards
- Mentor junior engineers in emerging sustainable tech methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in renewable energy systems or grid modernization
- Expertise in energy modeling software (HOMER, PVsyst) and simulation tools
- Strong Python/R programming for energy optimization algorithms
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Experience with DOE or EPA sustainability frameworks
- Published research in IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy
