Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and scale breakthrough solutions with 3-year market impact
- Analyze global megatrends and disruptors to identify strategic opportunities and threats
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation strategies to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $10M+ innovation budgets with ROI-driven KPIs
- Champion a culture of experimentation and agile innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching market-defining technologies with 3+ year lead times
- Expertise in scenario planning and futures methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or Technology with preference for PhD or MBA
- Strong network in Austin's innovation ecosystem and global tech communities
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and AI-driven innovation frameworks
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and project management (PMP/PRINCE2)
