Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech sectors
- Design and implement scenario-planning frameworks for systemic market disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Develop proprietary foresight methodologies and competitive intelligence systems
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy roles
- Proven track record of translating long-term trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable narratives
