Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and quantify emerging technologies, market shifts, and socio-economic trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning models for potential futures, quantifying risks and opportunities across 5-10 year horizons
- Architect strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable innovation ecosystems
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders through immersive data visualizations and narrative frameworks
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-state solutions
- Author thought leadership publications positioning our organization as a future-shaping authority
- Maintain proprietary trend intelligence database with predictive analytics capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent strategic discipline (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-level strategic planning
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic frameworks
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning, weak signal detection)
- Mastery of scenario planning tools and quantitative modeling techniques
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Deep understanding of emerging tech convergence patterns (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFSD, CIP)
