Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks through trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Produce executive-ready future-state reports and strategic roadmaps for board presentations
- Partner with R&D to prioritize innovation investments aligned with long-term market evolution
- Monitor geopolitical, technological, and societal shifts affecting future business landscapes
- Establish KPIs to track foresight accuracy and strategic initiative adoption
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into successful commercial initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and public speaking experience
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from WFS or APF) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping projects
