- Lead multi-year horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and market trends
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product/service innovations
- Quantify future opportunities through scenario planning and risk modeling
- Present executive-level insights to guide R&D priorities and investment decisions
- Build and lead a cross-functional futurist task force
- Author white papers on industry disruption and future-proofing strategies
- Establish KPIs for measuring strategic foresight impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Expertise in emerging tech: AI, quantum computing, biotech, or space tech
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or Futures Studies
- Strong analytical skills with data visualization proficiency
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
