Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic scenarios and roadmaps using futures research methodologies
- Analyze disruptive technologies, market shifts, and socio-economic trends to identify strategic opportunities
- Design and execute horizon-scanning initiatives across global markets
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate future insights into product development and business strategy
- Establish KPIs to track strategic initiatives' impact on long-term growth
- Maintain a dynamic repository of emerging trends and strategic foresight assets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing C-suite audiences
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their business implications
- Published thought leadership in foresight or strategy publications
