Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks through trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate future-facing technologies and business models
- Produce visionary reports and executive briefings on disruptive forces (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Design innovation pipelines with 5-year roadmaps aligned with market evolution and regulatory shifts
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot projects targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Establish global thought leadership through whitepapers, keynotes, and industry forums
- Mentor emerging futurists and build a future-focused culture across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, Web3, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent foresight methodology (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future visions to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-vision implementation
