Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic shifts to inform strategic planning for 2026+
- Develop scenario-based frameworks for market entry, product evolution, and competitive positioning
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align organizational vision with future-ready initiatives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster innovation and future-proofing across departments
- Produce actionable foresight reports and strategic recommendations for board-level decision-making
- Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) for integration opportunities
- Build and maintain a network of industry futurists, academics, and disruptor thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role at Fortune 500 level
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of disruptive technologies and their business implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex future scenarios into compelling narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through transformational change
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., ACFS preferred) or equivalent advanced training
