Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and socio-cultural trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State' reports with scenario-based strategic recommendations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on innovation priorities and future-proofing initiatives
- Design and implement AI-driven trend analysis frameworks to quantify future market opportunities
- Advise executive leadership on adaptive organizational structures for volatile future environments
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress against 2026 strategic milestones
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and long-range forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience translating complex insights into executive action plans
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or successful future-shaping initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) strongly preferred
- Ability to synthesize global inputs from diverse disciplines into coherent strategic narratives
