- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership on emerging technologies and societal impacts
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term strategic initiatives
- Present futures insights to investors and board members
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published work on technology's societal/economic impacts
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused initiatives
