Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate tech, biotech) and their 2026 implications through quantitative/qualitative research
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for high-impact futures and present to executive leadership
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams to align 2026 vision
- Build and maintain a horizon-scanning ecosystem tracking 200+ emerging signals monthly
- Author quarterly '2026 Pulse' reports with strategic recommendations and risk assessments
- Collaborate with venture partners to scout and integrate next-gen technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and establish thought leadership through industry publications
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating future insights into market-leading strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or industry disruption
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Innovation (preferred)
