Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces and emerging opportunities through 2026
- Design and implement strategic frameworks for future-proofing organizational operations and market positioning
- Develop scenario-planning models for 5-10 year strategic initiatives across multiple industries
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and decision-making
- Pioneer proprietary methodologies for quantifying future risk/opportunity landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narratives
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and adaptive innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Business Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or corporate strategy with proven 2026+ planning experience
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities for complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (articles, whitepapers)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term strategic transformation
