Responsibilities
- Analyze macro-trends in AI, biotech, climate tech, and human-machine interfaces to inform 2026+ strategy
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for exponential technological shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities
- Produce quarterly trend briefs with actionable recommendations for C-suite
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot projects with 5-7 year horizons
- Represent FutureWorks at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in translating complex trends into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Certification in scenario planning or horizon scanning methodologies
