Shape the future as Horizon Dynamics' first-ever 2026 Futurist Strategist. We're seeking a visionary thinker to map emerging societal shifts, technological disruptions, and market paradigms that will redefine our world post-2025. Lead cross-functional teams in developing adaptive frameworks for climate resilience, AI governance, and human augmentation. This pivotal role reports directly to our Chief Innovation Officer and will influence $500M+ in R&D allocations.
Responsibilities
- Forecast global socioeconomic and technological trends through 2035 using predictive analytics
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical uncertainty and climate adaptation
- Lead innovation sprints with quantum computing and bio-engineering specialists
- Develop ethical guidelines for autonomous systems and neuro-interfaces
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Author Horizon's annual 'State of the Future' industry whitepaper
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or policy development
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Published research on AI ethics, climate resilience, or human augmentation
- Experience with predictive modeling tools (e.g., Palisade @RISK, Gephi)
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful long-term strategic initiatives
- Fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Arabic required
