Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence) and their business implications through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for 10-year strategic horizons using predictive analytics
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype breakthrough products and services
- Present disruptive insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership pieces on future-proofing organizations
- Advise product teams on emerging tech integration and market readiness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into business strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications (e.g., Futures, Foresight)
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, SWOT, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects with measurable impact
