Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies, market shifts, and global megatrends through 2026
- Develop data-driven future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for business units
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research to validate foresight hypotheses
- Design innovation frameworks to test and prototype future business models
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Partner with R&D to align technology investments with future market needs
- Author thought leadership publications and industry trend reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategy, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurism
- Proven experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and futures methodologies
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech disruptions
- Exceptional storytelling and executive presentation abilities
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks
