Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead and mentor a team of 8-10 warehouse associates during weekend shifts
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize inventory management systems and track stock accuracy
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely delivery schedules
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex matters to management
- Generate performance reports and identify process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse supervisory experience
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid Ohio driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Forklift certification required
- Associate degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred
