Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily warehouse activities during the weekend shift, ensuring 100% on-time order fulfillment and accuracy.
- Manage a team of 10+ warehouse associates, conducting morning briefings and end-of-shift performance reviews.
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a zero-injury workplace.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies immediately to prevent stockouts.
- Optimize shipping and receiving workflows to reduce bottlenecks and improve turnaround times.
- Train new hires on equipment operation (forklifts, scanners) and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Proven track record of leading teams effectively during peak hours and high-volume periods.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Forklift certification and basic computer proficiency (WMS experience preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
