Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct and supervise the daily activities of the weekend staff to ensure production targets are met efficiently and accurately.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensure accurate inventory records are maintained.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Team Coordination: Conduct morning briefings, assign tasks, and provide constructive feedback to foster a positive and productive team culture.
- Problem Solving: Identify operational bottlenecks during the shift and implement immediate solutions to minimize downtime.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet quality standards before they are shipped to our clients.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in logistics, warehousing, or a similar operational role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Logistics is a plus.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical: Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
